Hello friends,

Today I am writing to you from somewhere I can see the sea while sipping a frozen watermelon drink. It sounds like a dream morning, but it’s really just the result of a few small decisions.

Let me explain.

Yesterday evening, I decided my fridge should always have everything I need to make a delicious summer drink whenever I feel like one so I made watermelon ice cubes. This morning, I decided that working somewhere with a view of the sea was a better choice than staying in bed for one more hour, scrolling so, I drove to the perfect working spot by the sea. And that is how I created my dream morning, with a few small decisions. Because the truth is our decisions shape our days.

(By the way, I’ll be sharing my frozen watermelon drink recipe and my favorite homemade ice cream recipe in the next Life Inspiration post. I think you’ll love them.)

Today probably won’t be one of the most important days of my life. But I'll spend it drinking something I love while working by the sea. And that feels like one of the good days that make up a beautiful life.

Because good days aren’t always something that happens to us. More often, they’re something we create.

A nice day almost never needs a mental checklist of ten things that need to go right. The bar is actually embarrassingly low. And that’s comforting, because I know we’re all chasing a good life.

A life we’ll look back on with a smile. One filled with beautiful memories, meaningful relationships, unforgettable trips, and stories we’ll still be telling years from now. I know I am. And honestly, that’s what I wish for everyone reading this too.

But here’s the thing: those lives are mostly made up of ordinary days.

Good days become good weeks. Good weeks become good months. And eventually, almost without noticing, they become a life.

So I propose a challenge. For one week, stop treating a good day as something you get lucky enough to have, and treat it like something you can create, on purpose, every single day.

And I have a recipe for creating a week full of good days. Consider this your challenge. And like every good challenge, this one comes with a few rules

The rules
