Welcome back to Evermuse Summer School! 📚

Last week, we talked about taking the first step before you feel ready, finding your why, imagining the life you want to build, and starting to live tiny pieces of that life today.

But there’s something we don’t talk about enough after that first step.

What happens when things don’t go according to plan?

This week is all about letting go of perfection and learning how to start messy. Because your dream is probably not going to unfold exactly the way you imagined it.

No matter how much you plan, how much you prepare, or how many possible problems you try to think of beforehand, something will probably go wrong along the way.

And I think we have to get a little better at being okay with that.

Because there is no such thing as a perfect plan. There is no perfect career, perfect relationship, perfect body, perfect business, or perfect version of your life waiting for you somewhere in the future.

There is only a life that you are constantly figuring out as you go.

So this week, I want us to stop trying to make everything perfect before we allow ourselves to enjoy it. Instead, I want us to learn how to romanticize the process.

The rest of this piece lives behind the paywall for my paid subscribers. If you’re curious what being a paid member looks like, here’s a little look at what’s waiting for you:
