Let's plan an anti-rot week together
A seven-day plan with a little more joy and a lot less rotting because sometimes all you need is one good week
Hello friends,
I have a proposition for you today. I think sometimes what we actually need to feel better is just one good week. Not a plan to fix everything, not another hour spent thinking about how to improve our lives, or getting lost in our heads trying to solve problems that may not even have solutions yet.
Sometimes all we need is just one good week.
A week where you do things you enjoy, go somewhere new, eat your favourite foods, see your favourite people, and most importantly, get off your phone long enough to remember that life outside is actually quite nice.
And somehow, by the end of a week like that, you can feel a little more like yourself again. Because even a week like that doesn’t solve anything, it can still remind you of something important: that your everyday life, the ordinary one you’re already living, has a lot of joy in it when you actually show up for it. And it’s so much fun to just live.
So I thought it would be fun to plan an anti-rot week together. Instead of thinking about how to improve your life this week, I want to invite you to just live it.
I planned a week for you, just a seven-day plan with a little more joy and a lot less rotting. Just small things to make the week feel more alive, more social, more memorable, and … a little less grey.
Take what sounds good, leave what doesn’t. But I hope you have a wonderful week, and thanks for being here.

Monday: make it yours from the start
Monday has a reputation, and I think it’s mostly unfair. Think of it like this. The week hasn’t done anything wrong yet. It’s still full of possibilities, and the way you start it can still shape the rest of your week.
So this Monday, start a little differently.
Make a real breakfast: Not just whatever’s easiest, but something you actually enjoy eating.
Eat it without your phone
Before the day gets going, write down three things you genuinely want to do this week: Not errands, not obligations. I am talking about things that sound nice to you. A walk, a recipe, a film, a call with a friend.
Put on a playlist that makes you feel good and makes you want to dance.
Wear something you like: Don’t save your favourite outfit for a special day.
Buy yourself a coffee or flowers on your way to work: Whichever makes you happier.
After work, even if it’s just for an hour, go somewhere: A bookstore, the grocery store, a cafe, or a walk around your neighbourhood. Anywhere that reminds you that other people exist.
The goal is to feel, from the very first morning, that this week belongs to you.
